Premiere of “Self-portrait in back”

For three years the team „V&Z” produced the TV broadcast “BG Kude? Kude?’ (BG Where? Where?) for the TV7 channel. It contains more than 850 short films, each with duration between 5 – 10 minutes. They introduce the public to natural landmarks, historical facts, curious places, and the life and work of notable Bulgarians.

The team created the documentary film “TEO”, presented in the Hugarian cultural centre in Sofia and the Bulgarian cultural centre in Budapest. They also work with the Bulgarian National Television, for whom they have shot a vast number of documentary films, produced by the public media.

„V&Z” cooperated with the German-French TV channel ARTE – in May-June 2009, during the elections for the European parlament, they prepared 9 film reports, showing the face of Bulgaria at that period. The reports were part of the project “27 et moi” – Zoom Europe.



Vania graduated from NATFIZ (National Academy of Theatre and Film Art) in 1991, in the class of professor Nikolina Georgieva. Since 1994 she works as a film director of children broadcasting, film documentaries and TV novels at the Bulgarian National Television /BNT/. She participates in 5 European projects focused on the development of civil society. She is a film director of many musical clips. In 2010 she won the prize “Golden amphora” in the International festival for children film documentary in Bansko, Bulgaria.


journalist, script-writer

Zornitca has an MA in journalism /1991/ and theology /2011/ from the Sofia University ‘St. Kliment Ohridski”, and obtained a PhD in philology in 2010. She has been a political reporter and editor in the Bulgarian National Television since 1990. She has also worked in a Meriapool.bg and Darik Radio. Zornitca is a founder and programme director of the cabel TV “Demo”. She participates in many European projects, such as: Delegation of EK – “Signes on the road”, “Europe without frontiers”, Switzerland – programme “Civil forum”, programme EMECE – “Media education for European citizenship”. She is a part-time lecturer in “Democracy and massmedia” in french language at the New Bulgarian University. She is awarded first and second prizes for gender publications from the Media center of the fondation “Open society”.


continuity editor

Biliana graduated from NATFIZ /National Academy of Theatre and Film Art/ in 2009. She is a continuity editor of several short feature films, film documentaries and TV broadcasts. She was part of the team covering the 36th World symposium of the students of Forestry Eterprise “Forest for the future”. As part of this she participated in the creation of a film about the culture, history, traditions, and natural landmarks of Bulgaria, which was distributed in more than 33 countries around the world, commissioned by the University of the Forest, Sofia.

Miroslav graduated from NATFIZ /National Academy of Theatre and Film Art/ in 2009. He has been a cameraman for many film documentaries and TV broadcasts, such as: “Unknown Land” /BNT/, “Four directions” /New Television”/. He was part of the team, which covered the Bulgarian participation at the World Fair of Tourism – WTM LONDON 2008.
